Not every fuzzy lop that we have sold to youth has been a huge winner, but the above examples show that we provide the youth with excellent examples of the breed and when they put their love and energy into it, the rabbits will come through for them.  Congratulations all! 

Alaina's Story

 ​​    In 2016, I attended my very first AFL national show. I was extremely excited to attend, but unsure what to expect from it. At the very least, I knew it would be a great learning experience. While watching the open rabbits show, I met Linda Hibbert and her beautiful LapLop rabbits. I instantly fell in love with them, especially LapLop’s Rapunzel, Trump, and Hook! Little did I know that I would win the AFL trio that night, donated by LapLops rabbitry! I was not expecting to go home with three new, beautiful rabbits (LapLop’s Davinci SJB, LapLop’s China Doll SJD, and LapLop’s Lyra SSD), but I was so excited.
      LapLop’s DaVinci (SSB) has done extraordinarily well on the show table, earning 11 legs including multiple BOB’s and BOS’s. Not only has he done well on the show table, he has also produced some amazing kits! Including Lazy Daisy’s Murano, a little broken tort doe that went on to earn 10 legs and win BIS in her unfortunately short life. He has also produced several other kits for us that have done very well on the show table and have earned many legs.
    LapLop’s China Doll has also done very well on the show table, earning 9 legs including multiple BOB’s and BOS’s. China Doll is one of the sweetest rabbits I have ever had. Around 80% of my current herd of
rabbits are related to China Doll! China Doll’s granddaughter, Lazy Daisy’s Halo has earned 9 legs so far, including a RIS!
    LapLop’s Lyra also did extremely well on the show table, earning 10 legs including a RIS! She was also an amazing producer and gave us several beautiful litters.
     I am so grateful to have won an amazing trio of rabbits, but I am even more grateful for all of the support and advice Linda has given me over the years. She has been such a great mentor to me and is always happy to help in any way she can. Thank you so much for donating a wonderful trio of rabbits, mentoring me, and our friendship that has developed through the years.
