Red & Orange Color Project
Red Project sold to Jared Smith  May 2019

The red program is really exciting for us. We are seeing progress with each generation and they are starting to do well on the tables. I have had a lot of people ask about them, curious to know how it started and some even asking to buy trios! I am excited to see this project continue. My goal is to show Red Holland Lops Nationally and place in the top 20! Until then, I will not be selling any reds, if you are really interested though, you may always ask. The reason I want to wait until they are in the top 20 is because I believe by then they will be of high enough quality that people could breed them and they will actually look like Holland Lops! We have made tremendous strides and are working really hard to breed heavy and keep only the best, giving the best chance for success. I have received several compliments from fellow breeders and judges encouraging me along. I am thrilled to see the reds taking their true form as Holland Lops and am excited to take part in this adventure.

Excited to see this buck grow up. He is a red out of a red buck (LapLop's FireCracker) and an orange doe (LapLop's Bella). This is my top pick in bucks right now!

LapLop's Spark

This is one of our more mature does. She is out of Rufus, the original red buck we used and our orange doe, LapLop's Bella.

LapLop's Sunkist

Our oldest red doe, Sunkist, is already starting to produce little red babies for us. She is out of our original red buck, Rufus and our doe, LapLop's Isabella.

LapLop's Cheddar

Cheddar is from our show program, but is orange so has migrated into our red program, to give a more solid foundation. She is out of our show buck, Grand Champion LapLop's Trojan and one of our foundation does LapLop's Aslanette.

LapLop's Isabella

Isabella is also from our show program, but being an orange she migrated into our red program. She is out of our tort herd buck LapLop's Hercules and our orange doe LapLop's Bella.

LapLop's Arizona

Arizona is one of the favorites in the barn. We have kept 98% of the kits she has produced and we have loved her from day one. She is an orange doe out of an orange buck, LapLop's Leo and one of our foundation does, LapLop's Ziggy.
